Karma Entertainment LLC, a Michigan Company, is created by Kanchan and Mukund Wankhede to provide a platform to semi professional musicians and dance groups. Downtown Port Huron is on an upswing and we plan to add to its vibrancy by bringing a different type of entertainment to the Blue Water area. We wish to draw inspiration from our own theater experiences, Indian Heritage and Bollywood to bring a fusion experience that will WOW our audiences. For us theater is more than a hobby, its our passion.
Mukund Wankhede
Mukund started with theater while in college in India. He worked backstage starting with building sets eventually managing the back stage . During his senior year, he had his first opportunity to work with stage lights.
He reconnected with theater in 2015 designing stage lights for a musical in Detroit. Since then he has designed stage lights for 20 shows over the last 4 years. These shows have included musicals, music and dance shows, drama and concerts. His debut as a production head with Kanchan was in 2018 when they presented Chitrahaar to the Port Huron audience.

Kanchan Wankhede
Kanchan is a trained Zumba instructor, a choreographer and singer. She can sing in three languages and has performed in multiple shows in the Metro Detroit Area and Sarnia. In addition to her stage journey, she has successfuly managed backstage, artist makeup and costume design for theatrical performances in Detroit.
She has directed fashion shows and planned and executed large corporate events. Her debut as a production head was in 2017 when she produced Rang Tarang, a Bollywood song show at the Black River Country Club in Port Huron.
